Seeding will be based solely on Palmetto’s Finest Top 25 point totals. It is possible that based on
points, wrestlers from the same team could face each other in the first round or be placed on the
same side of the brackets. This cannot be altered. Wrestlers with no Top 25 points will be placed
in brackets via blind draw. Brackets will be posted on the main page at
www.teampalmettowrestling.com by Friday at noon.
There will be wrestle backs for a true 2nd place. If wrestler is not available for 2nd place challenge
match he automatically forfeits. To meet the criteria for challenge of 2nd place the challenging
wrestler must meet the following criteria:
1. Wrestler must come in 3rd place.
2. Wrestler must have lost to 1st place finisher.
3. Wrestler cannot have already wrestled the wrestler that lost to 1st place finisher in finals
match.
Any appeals about brackets will be made to Bill Patterson. Bill Patterson will have final decision.
Appeals must be done before Friday March 12th.
In brackets that are Round Robin format, the following criteria will be observed to break a tie:
1. Head to Head
2. Most Pins
3. Most Cumulative Points (within the wrestlers in question matches)
4. Most Takedowns
High School wrestlers that medal (1st, 2nd, 3rd) at the 2010 High School State Championships will
