| That 103 was great to watch. It looks like he could turn into something great. I think he is a true fm. Good coach will keep that kid. Do you really think his parents named him JJ? |

| Kids that he has went against say he is Mean as hell. Can't see him being a good kid. One of his matches the other coach had to stop his boys from getting a ball bat after the match. Not sure what went on there but he was somekind of mad. I watched from afar did not see anything to cause all that. I also like the way that Pilion kid took care of the Loris allstar. Well I'm for Bamburg so I don't like JJ but he does do well. Wish we had him |

| I coached JJ for Freestyle/greco and he is a great kid. Extremely hard working. Pushes everyone in practice to work and takes offense at people scoring on him. A lot of pride and yes, mean as hell. In wrestling, that equates to a good kid.
That being said, it will be an upset if he beats Gilliam. He is just to big, old, experienced, and good at this point. Of course, JJ won't accept that. That is why he will be a great one.

| Oh, Whover it was that was upset about how JJ wrestled and wanted to get a baseball bat....JJ is better at those kind of fights than wrestling. Their best bet was to challenge him to a game of Trivial Pursuit. | |

| The 2nd and 3rd place guys at 103 upperstate really impressed me, I haven't seen JJ wrestle but he wont have an easy path to the championship. (but then, very few people ever do) | |

Wish we had him I find it hard to believe you are from Bamberg when you can not even spell it... and we are perfectly happy with our 103 whom is a first year wrestler with only 3 months of wrestling experience under his belt and finished 2nd in lower state!

| I was wondering this weekend had they ever wrestled before. Cody Pirkle is one of my all-time favorite MS wrestlers. I cannot wait to watch him next season. He should be a 103 or 112 at Ware Shoals.
The kid has everything you can ask for in a wrestler...mean, slick, skilled, technically sound but he has a motor that he can kick into overdrive....coupled with a great determination, slight attitude, and a great work ethic, he could be one of the best wrestlers to come out of A-AA.
I am a Pirkle fan. | |

| jj constantly needs a partner to wrestle.. his drive is unmatched in the mat room except for a couple of other wrestlers.. those wrestlers feed off his "emotion" ,,his drive,... somehow this still remains a team sport and jj is part of the team that wants to win.. he is NOT an individual but a great part of the team... charlie loves him! | |
