Off Season Wrestling

I am wanting to get my kids involved in some off season activities ie: AAU, Camps, etc that are inexpensive for my kids. If anyone has any info. please let me know. Thanks!!!

What area are you in and what ages/skill level are your kids?

Upstate. Mostly 1st/2nd year wrestlers. I would really like to involve them in a few freestyle/Greco tourn

There's a big freestyle/greco (and I think folkstyle too?) tournament in greenwood every year called the Palmetto Ironman, not sure exactly when that is this year.

There are a lot of clubs in the upstate. Not all of them do freestyle/greco. You can call any of the places where tournaments are held and ask about their clubs. West Oak has one, there is Country Kids, Greenwood, maybe Eastside or Hillcrest.

has anyone announced the dates for any of the summer duals? I'm looking to take my kids to a few this summer. We went to Hillcrest last summer and it was a good chance for some guys to get a taste of the sport and see if they would be interested. If anyone knows of anything please let me know.

Limestone has a really good thing going on there. Most our guys went there and it made a really big diffrence. I believe they go to all the freestyle and Greco tournaments also.

It appears that the first USA tournament is the same weekend as Nuway states.

Does the freestyle/greco season usually kick off two weeks after the high school state tournament?
