| Just a guess ( I have not seen a lot of the upstate teams yet) 103-Alley/C'field 112-Gilliam/Woodruff unless Geiges decides to go 112. 119-Tossup depending on who is on that day and gets the ref's favor (Rankin/McCall/Geiges/Bromell)-Toughest weight 125-Harper/C'field 130-Never seen Oaks so I'll go with Johnson/Cheraw with Wolfe/Hanahan as my darkhorrse.-interesting weight class. I'm sure a number of Harper avoiders in here. 135-Burr/C'field 140-Have not seen Cowan yet in Folkstyle. IF the stars are aligned~Dufour/BE 145-Jackson/Loris no one else stands out to me, though I have not seen a lot of them. 152-Robinson/C'field unless Van Metre/BE formulates the right version of kryptonite.-2nd toughest weight because of people avoiding Newton. 160-Newton/Emerald 171-Morris from Loris! 189-I have not seen most of the ranked guys so...uh....Gary/Cheraw? 215-No earthly idea. Hwt- Hedden/Walhalla | |

| Gilliam will be tough if he can make the weight. Heard Gore from Loris was dropping to 103 also. | |

| If gilliam really goes 103 for Upper/state, I'd pick Bertolini from 96 at 112, he's had some good matches with gilliam, just isnt quite as quick. both have very strong technique.
yeah, its a homer pick, but i'm still making it

| 103-Haven't seen much of Alley so I will say Alley vs. Gilliam in finals - edge to Alley 112-Geiges or Gore...Upperstate has several guys that will compete but not sure if they are on the same level 119-Tossup depending on who is on that day and gets the ref's favor (Rankin/McCall/Geiges/Bromell)-Toughest weight - Agreed. McCall beat Rankin 3-2 but match could go either way next time depending on the ref. Geiges and Rankin had a great match as well. Haven't seen Bromell yet this year but I would imagine hes in the mix as well. 125-Harper/C'field - Tough to say otherwise. 130-Oaks seems to be focused for one goal, but hes not untouchable. 135-Don't know of anyone that can beat Burr in the lowerstate but the Upperstate seems to be full of athletic wrestlers but no true standouts. So Burr gets the edge in what seems to be a relatively weak weight class. 140-Cowan vs. Dufour with Cowan winning it on raw ability but I think Creed would give Cowan a good match up at Upperstate. 145-I know very little about this weight class. 152-Steifle Emerald has impressed me from what I have seen. Must benefit greatly from his workout partner 160-Newton/Emerald 171-Morris from Loris! 189-Don't know if Glace has what it takes to win. I think this weight class is a toss up for the top two from the upper and lower that will be at state. 215-Grandy has looked good. Hwt- Hedden looked out of shape every time I have seen him wrestle and he also missed half the season, but I don't think there is anyone else that could beat him. | |

| I have not seen Indian Land.......ever I think. So I honestly don't even know if you all exist. We have/are traveled to the upperstate three times this year for: -The Southern Slam -Ram Rumble -Lakeland Duals I still saw no darn injuns' Though LSO spoke highly of Creed. | |

| oaks and harper is a real possibility if either oaks drops to go after him, or harper bumps. its prolly a dumb question... but, how do you think this one turns out? |

| I'd like to see a rematch between bertolini and moore from last year at state. Should be a decent match but i think bertolini still wins | |

| Don't forget Phillips at 119 Lex. he really looks good an will be a huge 119. I think McCall takes the gold. He is just too good on his feet and fundamentals are great. I heard Rankin lost a one point dec to Rholetter this weekend. Score? Any see that? I think Moore steps up and wins 112 this year with gilliam at 103. |

| I don't think ya'll better count Josh McCall out from Chesterfield for 130 quite yet... I think he might the under dog that will take the gold home... |

| Mcall is also great, after seeing him wrestle at the duals i honestly can not see oaks beatin him. he looks stronger and faster and more technical. to me that sounds like a better wrestler. oaks didnt impress me against harper. mcall takes gold on second thought now |

| Oaks did impress me with his match against Ian. At this point, Ian just has a little more experience and was able to pile on points in the 3rd period, but that was about Ian's closest match all season.
Josh McCall will have his hands full this Thursday against Josh Johnson. Johnson majored him earlier in the season...I am hoping for a different result this time. The number one seed in lowerstate will be important to stay on the opposite side of the bracket from Oaks.
130 is definately lowerstate heavy with Johnson, McCall, White, Dantzler, Wolfe.

| I think 130 is a deep weight class.
I don't think I have ever seen Phillips wrestle.
I am not surprised if Rankin was right there with Rholetter.
I think this is going to be a great year at state. Lots of great potential matchups. There are several weights that could go anyway.
