Anything exciting this past weekend?

Did anyone have or see any good match ups this weekend?

Things have been slow on the board.

Today Abbeville wrestled Broome. We looked back on track with a victory of 39-34 minus five starters and a few guys not at weight. Playoffs look promising!!

Ninety Six wrestled pretty well at the Abbeville duals, losing to Walhalla and then defeating Ware Shoals, Newberry, Abbeville, and winning a close one against Woodruff (last wrestler managed to avoid being pinned which would have created a tie-breaker situation).

Wrestled best in the Abbeville match after losing big to them at home to start the season. The Wildcats won this one something like 54-29.

can anybody offer anything on the teams to watch in the lower state?

We'll have a better idea after this coming weekend at the Bamberg Duals and then the Hanahan Invite the week after. Otherwise I have not seen many 1a/2a teams thus far.
Hanahan looks solid if they have a full lineup, which has not been the case yet.
Loris is similar in that respect to Hanahan. Though I do not know what their full lineup is or if it is what we saw at St. James.

hilton head .Their best wrestler are
Gore,Butler,James,Bromell,richburg!

saw bamberg wrestle/ look decent but got caught by hanahan.. i think they just underestimated them.. they beat gilbert, airport, dreher easily
